Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking a School Nutrition Program Manager to oversee the SNP in a school setting in Savannah, GA. You will supervise SNP staff, manage food preparation, inventory, and budgets, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.

Responsibilities include program development to boost participation, nutrition education for students and staff, and maintaining partnerships with school leaders and parents. Strong scheduling, communication, and HACCP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Preferred: Associate Degree or higher in food service, nutrition, culinary arts or related field
• At least one year of lead SNP or supervisory experience in mass food production
• Knowledge of HACCP SOP requirements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prepare a detailed work schedule
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• ServSafe Certification
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Manage SNP programs by ordering food and supplies and scheduling staff.
• Monitor food production and POS operations, deposits.
• Maintain perpetual inventory and monitor leftovers and waste.
• Ensure high standards of customer service to students and staff.
• Develop programs to increase program participation and provide nutrition education.
• Maintain relationships with administrators, staff, students, parents.
• Prepare reports and data; handle bank deposits daily.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and HACCP.
• Complete Training-in-Depth courses per GA DOE and SNP.
• Plan manager's choice menus.
• Perform additional duties as needed.
