Job summary

Kokosing is seeking an onsite Project Engineer to plan, develop, coordinate, and manage construction engineering activities for industrial water/wastewater projects in the Greenfield/Fort Wayne market. You will support the project team with scheduling, planning, design interpretation, and cost control while coordinating with various stakeholders.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree with 2–3 years of heavy industrial construction experience and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of heavy industrial construction engineering experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• PE registration preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage onsite construction engineering activities for water/wastewater projects.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements and support construction schedule (Primavera P6).
• Provide technical support for design and construction planning; resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare cost, income and cash flow projections monthly.
• Manage subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices; assist in change orders.
• Interface with A/E, client, and project management meetings.
• Oversee pre-construction, design-build services and business development.
• Control job costs and production budgets.
• Maintain project correspondence files and insurance certificates.
• Perform additional assignments as directed.
