Job summary

Young Women’s Freedom Center is seeking a Program Manager for the Santa Clara County Site in San Jose, with some travel to surrounding counties. This full-time position reports to the SCC Site Director and focuses on ensuring program effectiveness, mentoring staff, and maintaining safe, empowering spaces for cis and trans women and gender-expansive youth.

Qualifications

• Excellent program management and leadership skills.
• Experience coordinating youth programs or community-based initiatives.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet grant deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Oversee YWFC’s core level II & III programs focused on youth voice, internships, and civic engagement.
• Supervise and train program staff; ensure grant deliverables and data reporting.
• Co-manage program budgets and annual curriculum development in partnership with Site Director.
• Maintain data systems and timely reporting for city, county, and foundation grants.
• Support youth in advocacy, strategy meetings, and community engagement.
