Job summary

Bravus Mining & Resources is seeking a Superintendent – Integrated Planning to lead a team of mining engineers and graduates at Carmichael Mine. You will own daily, weekly and 3-month mine plans, ensuring alignment with SRF/Budget and 5-Year Plan, and translate short-term decisions into long-term strategy.

The role requires a mining engineering degree, proven planning and leadership, and familiarity with SPRY, Vulcan or Deswik.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Mining preferred) with strong open cut coal mine planning and operations experience.
• Proven experience developing and delivering short and medium-term mine plans and schedules.
• Strong understanding of planning, budgeting, forecasting and reconciliation processes.
• Proficiency in SPRY, Vulcan and/or Deswik.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to develop engineers and build a high-performing technical team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and be accountable for daily, weekly and 3-month mine plans and schedules.
• Ensure short-term and 3-month plans align to SRF/Budget and 5 Year Plan.
• Understand longer-term implications of short-term decisions and adapt plans accordingly.
• Maintain alignment between short-term execution, Budget/SRF delivery and longer-term strategy.
• Lead, develop and support Senior Mining Engineers, Mining Engineers and Graduates.
• Provide day-to-day leadership to Drill and Blast Engineers from the contracting partner.
• Work with Mine Operations to develop practical, executable plans and handover to operations.
• Monitor plan compliance and identify risks/opportunities for planning responses.
