Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials seeks a Site Activation Manager to lead start-up and activation activities for assigned projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality data.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, communicate status to sponsors and project leaders, and apply strategic thinking to identify opportunities and optimize site activation and regulatory processes.

Qualifications

• Four-year college curriculum with a major in medical, biological, physical, health, pharmacy, or related science.
• Four years CRO/pharma industry experience, Start-up/Project/Site Management preferred.
• Proficient in cross-cultural communication.
• Proficient in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of communication for study start-up and maintenance activities on assigned projects.
• Oversee project activities of functional groups involved in site activation to ensure critical path on time and within budget.
• Ensure accurate compilation, management, tracking and analysis of site activation activities.
• May support feasibility and/or site identification activities as needed.
• Work closely with team members to expedite Site Qualification and Selection.
• Effectively communicate Site Activation & Regulatory status to Sponsor, GPL/CPM and project team.

What the Site Activation Manager does at Worldwide

As a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team, the Senior Director, Growth Marketing is responsible for shaping and executing the organization’s growth marketing strategy to accelerate business growth, expand market opportunities, strengthen customer engagement, and deliver measurable commercial impact.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Global Marketing, this leader serves as the primary strategic marketing partner to Commercial and Therapeutic Area Leadership, translating business priorities into integrated marketing initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, adoption, and revenue growth. Acting as a trusted advisor and thought partner, the Senior Director brings market insights, customer understanding, and innovative thinking to help influence strategy, identify new opportunities, and advance organizational goals.

This role requires an energetic, growth-oriented leader who thrives in a dynamic environment, challenges conventional thinking, and inspires teams to deliver results. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision, business acumen, and executional excellence, with a proven ability to build strong partnerships and lead transformational marketing initiatives.

What you will do

• May support feasibility and/or site identification activities, as needed
• Work closely with assigned team members to expedite the Site Qualification and Selection process
• Effectively communicate Site Activation & Regulatory (if applicable) project status to the Sponsor, GPL/CPM and project team

What you will bring to the role

• Strong leadership and organizational management skills in planning, strategizing, managing, monitoring, scheduling, and critiquing
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently and to proactively identify and solve problems
• Ability to provide experience and input into initiatives relating to interacting with sites and/or customers
• Ability to motivate, lead and engage a team

Your experience

• A minimum four-year college curriculum with a major concentration in medical, biological, physical, health, pharmacy, or other related science OR two-year college curriculum or equivalent education / training (nursing degree or equivalent life science degree) and experience within clinical research (e.g. CRA, Reg Affairs)
• Minimum of 4 years CRO/pharmaceutical industry experience, preferably in Start-up Management, Project Management, and/or Site Management experience
• Proficient in cross-cultural communication
• Proficient in both spoken and written English

United States of America - $86,000.00 - $170,000.00

The salary range provided is intended to give candidates an understanding of potential earnings. Compensation will fall within the provided range, and it not a guarantee of exact salary. The final salary will be determined based on relevant experience, performance, education, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, we offer a competitive benefits package depending on location. We ensure pay equity and transparency and comply with all applicable labor laws.
