Job summary

Western Digital Corp. is seeking a SIT Lab Program Manager to own validation plans across multiple HDD development programs. You will influence program decisions, collaborate with engineering, QA, and product teams, and drive readiness for product launches.

The role requires expert knowledge of SIT Lab processes, HDD technologies, and a track record of cross-functional influence without formal authority. Excellent communication and leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

Deep knowledge of HDD storage technologies and interfaces.
Strong firmware architecture understanding and features.
Proven experience with defect trackers and process discipline.
Ability to facilitate risk discussions and communicate at exec level.
Experience delivering executive summaries and program communications.

Responsibilities

Own SIT Lab validation plan for development and sustaining programs from staging through QSR.
Serve as SIT Lab focal point for one or more Core Teams on program matters.
Coordinate readiness of SIT Lab for upcoming programs with Technology Development teams.
Provide regular updates on code releases, timelines, and milestones to SIT Lab management.
Lead quarterly program reviews and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Identify and resolve program risks and issues across organizations.
