Job summary

Openwork is seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator for a distribution facility. You will operate a sit-down forklift while supporting inventory accuracy, product movement, receiving, and warehouse organization.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, full-time. Compensation is $18.50 per hour, with a focus on maintaining inventory records and efficient warehouse operations within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Previous sit-down forklift experience required.
• Strong inventory experience including cycle counting and location accuracy.
• Ability to identify part numbers, quantities and locations.
• Ability to work independently while supporting the warehouse team.
• Ability to safely lift and move warehouse parts and materials.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Loading, unloading, moving, and staging truck parts and other inventory.
• Putting away incoming products in the correct warehouse locations.
• Performing inventory counts and assisting with cycle counts.
• Verifying part numbers, quantities, and product locations for accuracy.
• Updating and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Investigating inventory discrepancies and communicating issues to warehouse leadership.

IN A SIT-DOWN FORKLIFT OPERATOR JOB, YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Operating a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Loading, unloading, moving, and staging truck parts and other inventory.
• Putting away incoming products in the correct warehouse locations.
• Performing inventory counts and assisting with cycle counts.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
