Qualifications

Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a skilled Stand-Up Forklift Operator in Kennesaw, GA. In this high-energy and fast-paced role, you will be responsible for operating stand-up reach trucks to execute precision warehouse order picking, staging, and inventory movement.

In a Stand-Up Forklift Operator job, you’ll be responsible for:

• Operating a stand-up reach truck safely to pick orders from high-bay warehouse racking.
• Staging picked inventory accurately to prepare orders for daily outgoing shipment.
• Transporting materials and pallets efficiently throughout a high-volume logistics facility.
• Utilizing RF scanners to track inventory movements and verify order selection accuracy.
• Performing pre-shift safety and battery checks on your stand-up forklift equipment.
• Maintaining clean aisles and assisting with general warehouse cleanliness and safety.
• Collaborating with team members and shift leads to hit daily fulfillment targets.

What you’ll need:

• Proven experience safely operating a Stand-Up Forklift Operator setup or reach truck.
• Solid experience in warehouse order picking and high-rack pallet placement.
• Comfort operating machinery in narrow aisles and fast-moving distribution spaces.
• Willingness and availability to work required weekend shifts.
• Strong focus on workplace safety, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.
• Reliable transportation and dependable shift punctuality.
• Ability to stand, bend, and work actively throughout an 11-hour shift.
