Job summary

Tappwfs is hiring Forklift Operator – Sit-Down Forklift to support a major automotive manufacturing client. This temporary-to-permanent role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

You will operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks, load/unload trailers, and move parts across line-side and warehouse locations. Prior forklift experience and on-site certification are required.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift operating experience required.
• Current forklift certification or the ability to obtain on-site certification.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing/logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate equipment for the duration of a shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down counterbalance forklifts and reach trucks to move, stage, and transport automotive parts and materials throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trailers and containers.
• Pull and deliver parts to designated line-side or warehouse locations.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and completing required documentation.
• Maintaining accurate inventory counts and ensuring proper labeling and placement of materials.
• Working safely in a high-traffic warehouse and production-support environment.
• Following all company safety protocols, including PPE requirements.
