Job summary

Englewood Public School District is seeking a Technology/Application Specialist to support, manage, and maintain the SIS (Infinite Campus). You will train end-users, develop best practices, and drive system adoption while collaborating with district staff to meet operational needs.

The role requires strong communication, SQL and data handling skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience with School Information Systems (SIS) required.
• Work in SQL Databases and Infinite Campus preferred.
• Proficient in Google G Suite and MS Office (Excel).
• Excellent communication, customer service, organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Ability to train and facilitate informational meetings.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with other SIS team members as needed.
• Manage user accounts, roles/profiles, and permissions for staff, students, and parent portal access.
• Develop and provide best practices, training, and tips to increase adoption, usage, and troubleshooting.
• Update and maintain reporting tools, grade book setup, report cards, grading tools, standards, transcripts, attendance reports, and exports.
• Design configuration changes and system enhancements based on business requirements while following standards (projects, custom fields, reports, workflows, email notifications, dashboards).
• Coordinate Infinite Campus customization to meet District needs, including vendor collaboration for inter-system data scripts/requests or updates.
• Work with middle and high schools on course registration processes and master schedule development in IC.
• Collaborate with Nutrition Services, Business Services, and building staff on student fee processes and waivers.
• Stay updated on releases, functionality, add-ons, and best practices, proposing enhancements for Englewood users.
• Act as CIC liaison resolving operational problems and technical issues.
• Maintain relationships with District Administration, School Site Leadership, and staff.
• Create/maintain documentation to support systems and processes.
• Monitor self-scheduling and suggest adjustments.
• Perform quality checks on transcripts, post grades, enrollments, and programs.
• Document graduation requirements waivers and related transcript items.
• Extract data subsets for specific student categories and programs.
• Build schedules and rosters for alternative pathways (CE, CTE, GED).
• Set up and manage complex projects documenting student progress toward graduation and credentials.
• Apply knowledge to support systems and processes.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
