Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a SIPA Foreman to lead insulation crews in industrial settings. The role involves applying, removing, and repairing insulation on surfaces such as pipes, tanks, boilers, and buildings to control noise and temperatures.

Responsibilities include supervising insulators and scaffold builders, reading blueprints, selecting materials, measuring and fitting insulation, and ensuring safety while working at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Education – no minimum education requirements.
• 2–3 years of Insulator experience.
• Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Must have insulator skills and experience.
• Must be able to run a crew of Insulators and Scaffold Builders.
• Reads blueprints and selects required insulation material.
• Measure and cut insulation material to size.
• Fit and wrap insulation following blueprint specifications.
• Work at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions.
