Job summary

Vertiv is recruiting an experienced supply planner to develop and maintain the SIOP-driven supply plan for the Power Management portfolio. You will translate demand into production requirements, work with factories, buyers, and suppliers, and lead risk-focused supply reviews.

You will monitor inventory health, collaborate on capacity constraints, and participate in monthly SIOP cycles to align with budgets and forecasts.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply planning, SIOP/IBP, or production planning.
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems (SAP, Kinaxis, OMP or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.

  • Partner with finance and operations to align supply planning assumptions with budget and forecast cycles.
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, system parameters, and cross-functional communication.
  • Support new product introductions and product transitions, ensuring seamless integration into the supply plan.
  • Track and report key supply metrics, including on-time delivery, supply adherence, and inventory performance.

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes and SIOP principles.
  • Experience with ERP and planning systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, OMP, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work cross-functionally and influence without authority.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make sound decisions.
  • APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
