Job summary

Vertiv, headquartered in Westerville, Ohio, seeks a motivated SIOP Intern to join the Americas SIOP team. You will drive data standardization, performance analytics, and process improvements across multiple MRP systems, helping streamline reporting and generate insights for planning and transformation initiatives.

You will gain exposure to supply chain planning, inventory management, and business analytics while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support data collection, cleansing, and standardization across multiple MRP systems to improve reporting consistency and data integrity.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to inventory risk, customer demand, and supply planning performance.
• Analyze execution variances and identify root causes related to booking and shipping performance, inventory availability, warehouse operations, and factory execution.
• Support recurring business reviews by gathering, organizing, and validating data used in planning and operational decision-making.
• Assist with process documentation, testing, training materials, and change management activities associated with SIOP process enhancements.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on planning effectiveness, reporting automation, analytics development, and operational visibility.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and Finance teams to support data-driven decision-making.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field
