Job summary

Safran is seeking a data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to lead SIOP processes and manage KPI reporting in a manufacturing environment.

The role involves coordinating with the SC Manager and Director, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and delivering insights to mitigate risks and capture opportunities across the plant.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of supply chain experience.
  • Experience with SIOP, forecasting, and inventory control.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams.

Responsibilities

  • Supports purchasing and communicates supply challenges affecting operations.
  • Monitors supply chain risks and opportunities.
  • Develops and maintains KPI metrics and presentations.
  • Works with Master Scheduler to maintain inventory levels and reductions.
  • Monitors buyer and planner KPI's and drives for results.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

A. Manages daily, weekly and monthly SIOP processes, meetings and action plans, issues resolution and tracking

B. Champions SIOP process to utilize systematic process to determine right inventory levels required to match customer demand with available capacity

C. Associates SIOP and inventory levels to develop and implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and obsolescence

D. Analyzes data, including SAP requirements planning information and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to ensure plant/product line optimal supply chain execution

E. Measures forecast accuracy to the historical usage and customer provided forecast

F. Works closely with SC Manager and Director to support the purchasing function and stakeholders, communicating any supply challenges which may impact business operations

G. Monitors and advises any supply chain issues which present risk or opportunity to the organization

H. Data Analyst responsibilities include developing and maintaining daily, weekly and monthly KPI metrics and presentations

I. Working closely with Master Scheduler to maintain proper inventory levels and inventory reductions

J. Monitors buyer and planner KPI's and proactively drives for results

K. Regular, predictable attendance is required. Additional hours required beyond the standard 40 hours.

Job Requirements
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 5 years' of supply chain experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Supply Chain experience in a manufacturing setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Full knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic
  • Thorough understanding of SIOP and operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, forecasting and inventory control
  • Ability to lead cross-functional process improvement teams
  • Ability to analyze data and provide appropriate recommendations as well as influence others to execute timely required objectives.
  • Ability to drive the supply chain and planning team to achieve results in a positive manner.
  • Exceptional ability to stay organized while multi-tasking.
