Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to ensure a smooth flow of materials, coordinate production, and optimize inventory and costs. You will use analytical and strategic thinking to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the supply chain.

You will define supply parameters, guarantee data quality, balance MRPs for materials, collaborate with suppliers, and manage large project planning to ensure warehouse readiness.

Responsibilities

  • Define and update supply and stock parameters to meet service levels while reducing excess stock and costs.
  • Ensure data quality for lead times, quantities, and stocking policies.
  • Balance requirements for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished goods in planning systems (MRP).
  • Collaborate with suppliers to meet customer needs and drive supplier performance via root-cause analysis, 8D, and Kaizen.
  • Plan and deliver for large projects to ensure warehouse availability.
  • Analyze inventory, planning, and procurement KPIs in SAP to identify improvements.

Job description

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials and products through our supply chain. You will be responsible for planning and coordinating the production processes to meet customer demands while optimizing inventory levels and minimizing costs. Your analytical skills and strategic thinking will be key in driving continuous improvement and achieving operational excellence.

What will you do?
  • Define and Update Supply Parameters: Define and update the parameters of supply and stock management, including ramp-up and ramp-down, to achieve the target service level while reducing unhealthy stock and express cost.
  • Data Quality and Consistency: Ensure the quality and consistency of key data, such as lead time, quantity, and stocking policy.
  • Resources Balance: Manage the continuous needs/resources balance (MRP) for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
  • Supplier Collaboration: Work with suppliers to manage customer needs and improve their performance through root cause actions, 8D, and Kaizen events.
  • Large Project Planning/Delivery: Manage planning and delivery for large projects to ensure warehouse availability.
  • Analyze inventory, planning, and procurement KPIs within SAP to identify improvement opportunities and enhance supply chain performance.

  • Proficient with using computers and familiar with applications (Q2C, Access, Excel).

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
  • Degree preferred, not required. Equivalent experience and skills can be substituted for education.
  • Have experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • 1-3 years in Planning and Procurement.
