Job summary

Franklin Mountain Packaging is hiring a Singlefacer Operator to manage the wet end of the corrugator. Responsibilities include presetting the singlefacer, verifying roll stock and flute alignment, and ensuring glue settings match liner grade.

The role requires following safety protocols, performing machine PMs, and coordinating with the next station to produce quality, traceable corrugated sheets. Candidates should have related experience or education and be able to handle physical demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in corrugated industry preferred.
• Singlefacer operating experience preferred.
• 6–12 months wet end corrugator experience preferred.
• Ability to read tape measure quickly and accurately.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

Responsibilities

• Preset singlefacer for orders to be run.
• Check glue settings according to liner grade.
• Setup, run, and perform PM on the machines.
• Coordinate production to produce quality sheets for next operation.
• Perform all quality checks and corrective actions as needed.
