Job summary

The Music Academy of the West seeks a Sing! Site Coordinator to support Santa Barbara rehearsals and performances. You will set up spaces, take attendance, guide behavior, and help run Sing! activities with staff, parents, and school partners.

Candidates should love classical vocal music, have youth-education experience, and work well in a collaborative, flexible team environment; Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Passion for classical vocal music and youth education.
• Experience working with children in a music education setting.
• Ability to collaborate across diverse communities and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down Sing! Program rehearsal spaces.
• Take attendance and contact parents for absences.
• Provide behavior management and musical guidance during rehearsals.
• Plan and assist in execution of Sing! program performances.
• Participate in program-wide problem-solving and decisions.
• Other duties as assigned.
