Job summary

Akkodis is seeking a Simulink Engineer - Power Converter Controls Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Niskayuna, NY area. This hybrid role offers an hourly pay rate of $75–$95, depending on education, experience, and location.

The candidate must be strong in MathWorks/Simulink. Duties include embedded firmware development for power converters and motor drives, writing control code in C/C++, and testing in the lab on ARM/Microcontrollers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware development, including at least 3 years in power converters or motor drives.
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
• Strong MathWorks/Simulink proficiency.

Akkodis is recruiting for a Simulink Engineer - Power Converter Controls Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Niskayuna, NY area. This is a hybrid position with a pay rate of $75 an hour to $95 an hour depending on education, experience and location. This person MUST be strong in Mathworks/Simulink.

• Power Electronics Engr who can write C/C++
• Working with Control systems and power generation
• Be able to write control code
• C, C++, Matlab, DSpace
• Work on ARM or Microcontrollers and complete test in the lab
• Work with Inverters and power converters
• Complete AC/DC, DC/AC
• Work with High Voltage

Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field

5+ years of embedded firmware development experience, including at least 3 years of power converters or motor drives.

Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
