Job summary

Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma, LLC seeks a Simulator Technician I to support KC-135 TS simulators at Fairchild AFB. You will apply comprehensive technical knowledge to diagnose complex issues and perform maintenance with limited supervision.

The role involves interpreting schematics, maintaining accurate maintenance documentation, and providing guidance to junior technicians while working with various computer systems and networks. Travel and physical demands may apply.

Qualifications

• Technical College Degree with 2+ years of related experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and operation of full flight simulators.
• 2 years of related experience may substitute for absence of Technical College Degree.
• Must meet the minimum education, experience and qualifications of a Simulator Technician I.
• Knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures within a field.

Responsibilities

• Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Receives limited technical guidance and ensures compliance with practices and work assignments.
• Provides technical guidance to junior Simulator Technicians.
• Interprets and works with computer systems utilizing multiple operating systems.
• Maintains documentation of maintenance activities.
• Monitors repair status and documents using the logistics management data base system.
• Diagnoses malfunctions of computers and associated equipment and performs operability tests.
• Performs systems interface/fault isolation and basic modifications to existing simulators.
• Interprets electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and electronic schematics and drawings.
• Conducts voice communications on phone, inter-phone and radio circuits.
• Provides networking and information systems support on training devices and networks.
