Job summary

U.S. Space & Rocket Center is seeking a qualified technician to operate and maintain rocket center simulators and exhibits.

The role requires inspecting equipment daily, performing repair and modification of computer hardware, software, and networking, and designing and maintaining simulators to ensure safe, efficient operation. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience in troubleshooting electro-mechanical devices, familiarity with Windows, and proficiency in 3D modeling or

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a 2-year technical degree in electronics or similar field is required.
• Software programming knowledge will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections of Rocket Center equipment to maintain safe operation and appearance.
• Repair/Modification of computer hardware, software and networking.
• Systematically develop, design, fabricate, inspect, install, and repair simulators to maintain safe operation and appearance.
