Impulse Space in Boulder County is seeking a Simulation Visualization Engineer to build tools for visualizing simulation results and camera-system models. You will work with GNC, Space Ops, Mission Design, and other teams to create high-quality renders of space vehicles executing missions.
You will emulate vision systems with high-fidelity models to enable algorithm development and testing, participate in mission rehearsals, and contribute to visualization-driven displays across programs.

Compensation: $130,000 - $170,000 / year
As a Simulation Visualization Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the tools for visualizing simulation results and models to emulate camera systems. You will work closely with the GNC, Space Ops, Mission Design, Business Development, and Testbed teams to create displays and high-quality renders of our space vehicles executing our missions. Additionally, you will emulate the vision systems we are deploying on orbit with high-fidelity models that enable algorithm development and testing.
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on job-related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full-time hires, you may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
Impulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
