Job summary

Boeing is seeking Software Engineers–Simulation to join the SID team in Missouri. The role focuses on designing and delivering simulation models, environments and tools that support multiple Boeing programs across commercial and defense sectors.

Ideal candidates have strong C/C++, C#, .NET skills, 4+ years in software development and familiarity with SDLC. Relocation and security clearances may be relevant for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree required with strong software development experience.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret clearance (interim/post-start).
• 4+ years in software programming with C/C++, C#, .NET and debugging.
• 4+ years of experience with SDLC processes.

Responsibilities

• Designs, architectures, and develops simulation models, visualizations and frameworks to improve test performance and software-hardware integration.
• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify simulation requirements and system dynamics.
• Performs design, modeling, simulation, testing, and analysis to optimize performance.
• Collects data and processes it for use in simulations.
• Validates and refines simulation software, test procedures and environments against real-world data.
• Documents code, algorithms and specifications for simulations.
• Partners with cross-functional teams to enable integration with hardware.
• Implements current technologies and methods in the simulation environment.
• Modernizes software to adapt legacy systems to new operating systems.
• Performs project management functions for simulation software.
