Job summary

CymSTAR is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for an on-site Tulsa position. You will design, code, implement, and test simulation software for trainer devices and related applications, following project requirements and schedules.

The role requires proficiency in C, C++, C#, Python, and Linux, with an ABET-accredited engineering program background. You will work under supervision, with potential for growth and hands-on experience in defense/aerospace simulations.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding an engineering degree with ABET accreditation.
• Proficiency in C, C++, C#, Python and Linux.
• Ability to read technical literature and apply math concepts.
• Experience with Git or Subversion for version control.
• Must reside in Tulsa County, OK, and be available May–Aug 2027.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, implement, and test simulation software.
• Perform subsystem, integration, and acceptance testing of software products.
• Troubleshoot software to identify and solve problems.
• Produce design documents, source code, and test specifications as required.
