Job summary

Cymstar is seeking an experienced aviation trainer to deliver aircraft systems and operational procedures instruction in aircraft, classroom, and simulator environments at JBSA San Antonio.

The role requires deep knowledge of C-5 operations, curriculum development, and the ability to evaluate student performance, with emphasis on safety, compliance, and professional standards. This position involves classroom and flight line duties in a demanding training environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pilot procedures instruction in aircraft, classroom, and simulator or other platforms.
• Provide training for VTRAT.
• Provide CRM and IRC training.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and remediate student performance.
• Assist in curriculum development for new type courses.
• Review and update existing lessons as required.
• Suggest updates to training policies and procedures.
• Conduct ground training for crewmembers and diagnose student issues.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling, records, and counseling.
