Job summary

Brigham Young University is seeking a Simulation Program Manager to operate and manage the BYU School of Medicine's simulation laboratories. You will ensure high-quality, safe, and educational experiences for undergraduate and graduate medical education, under the direction of the Director of Simulation.

You will coordinate equipment, faculty collaboration, scheduling, staffing, and budgetary oversight while supporting the school's mission to provide a spiritually grounded and scientifically

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of healthcare simulation experience or 6 years of equivalent simulation/technical experience.
• Ability to obtain CHSOS or CHSE certification within three years of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred; 5+ years in healthcare simulation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the simulation labs and coordinate setup/teardown.
• Maintain readiness of all simulation spaces and equipment.
• Support curriculum design, delivery and evaluation of simulation-based education.
• Manage OSCEs, skills labs and courses; optimize utilization.
• Supervise simulation staff, provide training and performance reviews.
• Assist with budgeting, safety, accreditation and policy compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

This position plays an important part in supporting the school’s mission to “provide a spiritually grounded and scientifically rigorous education for physicians who will minister to God’s children throughout the world as healers, teachers, researchers, leaders, and disciples of Jesus Christ.”This position is important to the success of the BYU School of Medicine, a newly established organization within the university.
