Job summary

The University of Maryland, Baltimore is seeking a Simulation Coordinator (Program Coordinator) to provide operational, technical, and administrative support for simulation-based education within the PA Program and School of Pharmacy.

Under the Simulation Educator, this role runs daily simulation labs, clinical skills rooms, and OSCE spaces, coordinating setup/breakdown, resources, and staff collaboration to meet learning goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• One year administrative or program coordination experience required.
• Experience in simulation, laboratory operations, or healthcare education support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate simulation laboratories, clinical skills rooms, and OSCE spaces to support PA Program and School of Pharmacy activities.
• Coordinate day-to-day activities with other programs, departments, or staff for efficiency and compliance.
• Support virtual and hybrid simulation activities for the School of Pharmacy and PA Program.
• Manage data collection, keep records, and prepare reports for management.
• Recruit program participants, volunteers, and stakeholders using marketing methods.
• Assist in preparing proposals for funding from external sponsors.
• Interact with students, faculty, staff and community partners to advance program objectives.
• Schedule, market, and promote events with promotional materials and plans.
• Maintain inventory of simulation supplies and equipment; manage documentation and asset tracking.
• May supervise work-study students, volunteers, and standardized patients; assist with check-in and flow.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
