Job summary

Denver College of Nursing is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator to manage laboratory materials and simulators, ensuring efficient operation and readiness for all simulation activities. The role collaborates with faculty and reports to the Director of the Simulation Laboratory.

The candidate will maintain inventory, prep labs, and ensure equipment readiness for ACLS/PALS training, while organizing the supply room and supporting quality standards across learning laboratories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; hands-on experience in a learning laboratory preferred.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Colorado CNA license preferred; professional demeanor with customers, staff, vendors, and students.

Responsibilities

• Prepares mannequins (high and medium fidelity) and supplies for simulations.
• Maintains inventory and par numbers for all supplies; coordinates with Skills Laboratory Manager.
• Prepares labs and supplies ahead of time for all activities; ensures equipment is in good working order.
• Maintains equipment for ACLS and PALS training.
• Sets up and breaks down supplies after activities; identifies items to discard or replace.
• Anticipates inventory needs for each quarter to support upcoming classes.
• Organizes and labels supply room; minimizes waste while ensuring adequacy.
• Orders and prepares nurse packs for Foundations students.
• Tracks linen supplies and participates in improving learning laboratories.
