Job summary

Delta Staffing seeks a skilled engineer for a contract-to-perm opportunity in the Powertrain Systems Group with Fanuc America. You will serve as the central technical contact for mechanical, pneumatic, and process engineering, designing safe, detailed automation solutions and robust specs.

You will create 3D models and simulations, lead safety assessments, and manage multi-disciplinary design efforts to deliver world-class automation systems.

Qualifications

• BS Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Familiar with QA systems like ISO-9000/QS-9000 and TE Supplement.

Responsibilities

• Attend project kick-off meetings and provide technical expertise.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project technical plan and task list.
• Generate specifications for system functionality: Robot Reach, Payload, Inertia, Cycle-time, and tolerance studies.
• Lead the Robot Safety Risk Assessment team for projects.
• Create or oversee 3D concepts and simulations in RoboGuide, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
• Monitor progress of all designs and builds.
