Job summary

Diversified Recruitment Services, LLC is seeking an automation engineer to lead and support automation projects across North America. You will manage full lifecycle from concept to installation, ensuring safety, quality, and reliability of control systems.

The role requires PLC programming expertise, Fanuc/UR robotics experience, and ability to train and mentor engineers while traveling up to 50%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical or software engineering or related field.
3-5 years in automation engineering or robotics integration.
Expert knowledge of PLC programming and HMI systems.
Experience with Fanuc and UR robotics integration and troubleshooting.
Strong ability to read electrical drawings and modify HMI projects.
Knowledge of safety standards and project management experience.

Responsibilities

Lead automation cell implementations and integration across North America.
Develop electrical control systems and programming adhering to standards.
Program and troubleshoot PLC systems (RSLogix 500/5000, Studio 5000, FactoryTalk HMI).
Integrate Fanuc and UR robotics; provide calibration and maintenance.
Support installation, launch, and training of automated cells.
Mentor plant controls engineers and support continuous improvement.
Create and update HMI projects; support vision systems for guidance.
Conduct risk assessments to ensure OSHA/ANSI safety compliance.
Travel up to 50% across North America for projects and training.
