Job summary

Apple in Cupertino, California is seeking a Simulation and Control Systems Design Engineer to advance thermal management in hardware products. You will develop and validate control algorithms, perform system identification, and simulate power/performance/thermal tradeoffs across platforms.

The role requires strong embedded software experience and proficiency in Python/Matlab and C++, with a collaborative approach to influence next-generation Apple devices and the hardware/software stack.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical, Robotics, Mechanical, or Aerospace engineering or similar.
• Experience implementing Control Systems in Embedded Microcontroller environments.
• Experience with Python and Matlab.

Responsibilities

• Develop thermal control algorithms for Apple devices.
• Model and simulate power/performance/thermal characteristics.
• Apply system identification and learning techniques to improve models.
• Collaborate with Platform Architecture team to integrate controls.
