Job summary

University of Mississippi Medical Center seeks a Simulated Participant Manager to coordinate SPs and GTAs and oversee daily operations of the Clinical Skills Center. You will collaborate with faculty to tailor cases, monitor performance, and manage data, budgets, and documentation.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 2 years in simulation-based or healthcare education; CHSE is required post-hire within two years. The role is full-time, on-site at the Main Campus Jackson.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in simulation-based education, healthcare education, or clinical skills training.
• Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) is required post-hire within two years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with faculty and personnel across the state to ensure policy compliance and tailor SP activities to learning needs.
• Monitors and provides ongoing feedback to SPs and GTAs on script portrayal and feedback accuracy.
• Collects and analyzes SP and GTA training data to ensure standardization and best practices.
• Onboards SPs and GTAs by recruiting, interviewing, and implementing training.
• Manages LearningSpace software, user access, reports, and scheduling.
• Tracks CSC budget and learner hours for annual reporting.
• Maintains simulation center documentation and secure data storage.
• Oversees and trains coordinators, SPs, and GTAs on equipment setup and maintenance.
• Fosters relationships with schools and departments and supports SP/GTA activities.
• Participates in meetings, conferences, and outreach; documents center events.
