Job summary

Aaru in New York City is seeking a Simulation Architect to own the methodological proof and sales narrative for our predictive simulations. You will design sampling frames, weighting schemes, and validation approaches, defending them to senior insights leaders.

You will lead discovery, craft simulation designs, and stand behind accuracy frameworks used to defend client decisions, collaborating with account executives and delivery teams in a high-velocity, in-person environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in consumer insights or market research with quantitative depth.
• Experience designing and defending research methodology to senior stakeholders.
• Statistical fluency: distributions, confidence, bias, validity.
• Ability to argue against methods you built your career on and defend simulation.

Responsibilities

• Own the methodological conversation in the sales process: audience construction, representativeness, response synthesis, calibration, and what confidence in a simulated distribution actually means.
• Translate ambiguous business questions into well-specified simulation designs, including audience definition, stimulus design, and evaluation standards.
• Design and interpret proof-of-concept evaluations, including validation against a prospect's historical research where available.
• Prosecute the comparison to traditional methods credibly and fairly: where simulation outperforms trackers, surveys, and panels, where it does not yet, and why.
• Equip champions to defend simulation-based decisions internally, producing the methodological narratives and validation records they carry into their rooms.
• Partner with Account Executives and Deployment to ensure the sale's standard is met in delivery.
• Serve as a feedback channel into product and research, translating objections into platform priorities.
• Contribute to Aaru's public methodological voice: accuracy frameworks, validation publications, industry conversations.
