Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ forest management experience.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Ability to operate in outdoor environments and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contract with third parties to perform silviculture services (prospectus prep, identify qualified/licensed contractors, bid analysis, negotiations, contract execution and compliance).
• Implement policies, procedures, and guidelines regarding all forest management activities to ensure high quality while controlling costs.
• Maintain compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations, licensing standards, Forest Practice laws, SFI and FSC standards with ability to obtain chemical application license within 6 months.
• Use GIS to update maps regarding stand treatments, boundaries, inventory depletions, stream locations and stream classification.
• Monitor expenditures and operation levels to meet budget limitations and participate in budgeting processes.
• Represent J.P. Morgan Natural Capital with outside companies, contractors, agencies and internal teams.
• Ensure timberland investment services meet client commitments while reporting environmental or financial risk.
