Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. in Oregon seeks a JP Morgan Natural Capital Forester to plan and supervise forest management activities, ensuring fiduciary, regulatory and environmental standards are met while serving clients.

You will participate in silviculture, harvesting, and land use projects, working with internal teams and external contractors. A bachelor’s degree in forestry with 2+ years’ experience is required, along with strong analytical and communication skills and outdoor work capability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in forestry or closely related field with at least 2 years of forest management experience
• Strong analytical and critical thinking; ability to manage multiple projects
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication; proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
• Ability to work outdoors in rough terrain and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Contract with third parties for harvesting, silviculture, and road construction services
• Implement policies and guidelines for forest management to balance quality and cost
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and local regulations and standards
• Utilize GIS to update maps for stand treatments, boundaries and streams
• Monitor budgets and participate in quarterly/annual planning
• Represent Campbell Global with external partners and internal teams
• Support risk management reporting to Forest Supervisor and Safety Coordinator
