Job summary

The role involves silviculture, harvesting, and land-use projects in collaboration with local and corporate professionals. You will lead contractor coordination, maintain compliance with federal/state regulations, and use GIS to update stand boundaries and inventory data, while supporting budgeting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in forestry or related field with at least 5 years of forest management experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word and Outlook, plus GIS experience is desirable.
• Ability to work outdoors on rugged terrain and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Contract with third parties for silviculture services, bid analysis, and contract execution.
• Implement policies for forest management to balance quality and cost.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state/local regulations, licensing, and standards.
• Use GIS to update maps on stand treatments, boundaries, and inventory depletions.
• Monitor expenditures and participate in budgeting processes.
• Represent JPMorgan Natural Capital with external partners and internal teams.
• Support environmental and financial risk reporting to Forest Supervisor.
