Job summary

DO & CO AG in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a dynamic Silverware packer to polish and assemble cutlery, napkins, and linens for flights. You will support inventory and adhere to food safety standards in a fast-paced airline catering environment.

The role requires flexibility for day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts, and successful completion of airport security clearance. Competitive hourly pay with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Polish and assemble cutlery, napkins, and linens for a flight. Packs the utensils according to airline specifications
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook and reports problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team
• Assists in inventory and perform other tasks as assigned by the management

• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
• Flexibility (different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR 1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
