Job summary

DO & CO is seeking a Warehouse Staff in Des Plaines to receive deliveries, organize stock, and support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and verify against invoices and delivery orders.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary workspace.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of products.
• Follow company warehousing guidelines and safety procedures.
• Assist in organizing airline-related cabin load and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Responsibilities:

• Receive all airlines local purchasing deliveries and ensure items delivered are matching as per invoice and delivery order. Collect Airlines incoming Air Cargos shipments and Sea Containers and ensure paperwork for the Equipment and Beverage packing is according to company guidelines
• Assist in Conducting monthly inventories according to schedule and monitor stock levels in order to detect material reaching low stock and request cabin load of material and inform the supervisor regarding changes, material shortages, excess and any deviations, etc. Organize airlines job requisition according to instruction given by the warehouse management
• Load and off-load of designated vehicles and perform other tasks assigned by the management based on operational needs.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Keep products separated, organized, and in good rotation
• Follow all company guidelines regarding storage and warehousing.
• Ensure that the drivers take the correct flight equipment/ beverage in timely manner
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proactive and self-organized
• Ability to manage through a substantial workload
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time in order to meet strict deadlines
• Flexibility (different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
• Able to drive a sit-down or stand-up forklift and operate an electric pallet jack.
• Ability to multi-task and work well in a fast paced environment
• Hands-on approach and ability to react with a sense of urgency
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, heavy work load and standing for a prolonged period of time as necessary with ability to move, lift, carry, pull or push as needed
• All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
