Job summary

Smart IT Frame LLC is seeking a Hardware Engineer (Silicon Validation) to join our team. The role involves silicon validation and characterization of CMOS D2D and SERDES interfaces, bench software and hardware integration, and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will bring up, validate and characterize highspeed datasets; develop test methods; write Python and C/C++ routines; analyze results and provide insights to improve testability and test infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Experience in silicon validation and characterization of CMOS devices.
• Hands-on lab work with bench software and hardware integration.
• Ability to develop and implement test methods for highspeed interfaces.
• Familiarity with D2D and SERDES concepts and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Execute silicon validation and characterization of high-performance CMOS D2D and SERDES interfaces.
• Bring up, validate, and characterize high-speed D2D and SERDES in new and existing silicon chips.
• Set up bench software and hardware integration environments.
• Develop test methods to evaluate performance and operating margins of high-speed interfaces.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve testability and define test infrastructure logic.
• Write software routines (e.g., Python, C/C++) to bring up IPs and integrate drivers; analyze results.
