Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a seasoned silicon product-definition specialist in Santa Clara to own performance, power, yield, and quality analyses across GPU/SoC programs. You will isolate frequency-power-thermal constraints and translate findings into silicon, firmware, BIOS, driver, and platform changes while building automated models and workflows.

You will lead cross-functional teams through bring-up to production, assess trade-offs, and communicate clear options to executives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on silicon bring-up and performance-per-watt analysis.
• Experience with post-silicon characterization.
• Strong programming and data-analysis skills with Python and at least one of Perl/SQL/JMP.
• Solid foundation in digital design, circuit analysis, and computer architecture.
• Ability to translate complex silicon signals into actionable options for leadership.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Own product-definition analysis across performance, power, yield, and quality.
• Drive product configurations by translating constraints into silicon, firmware, BIOS, driver changes.
• Build statistical models, automation, and visualization workflows.
• Partner with Tools and Methodology teams to shift data modeling into future programs.
• Lead root-cause closure with multi-functional teams from bring-up through production.
• Evaluate performance-per-watt, TPS and yield trade-offs and drive fixes.
• Translate complex signals into decision-ready options for executives.
• Own BIOS-level VF settings across thermal, power, and frequency domains and drive fixes.
