Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a self-driven engineer to support development of advanced test solutions for Data Center and HPC markets. The role sits in GF's SiPh Lab, combining digital and RF test efforts with cross-functional collaboration.

You will work on Advantest 93k platforms, become an expert in micro-positioning and testing, and contribute to efficient silicon delivery and process improvements in a state-of-the-art environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical/Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong debugging skills and hands-on engineering.
• C++ and Python coding capabilities; Git familiarity.
• Experience with JMP, Matlab or similar data tools.
• Experience with Lab tools (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, bandwidth measurement).
• Proficiency in MS Office and diagnostic software.
• English language fluency (written & verbal).
• Ability to own daily prioritization and communicate clearly.
• Analytical mindset, problem solving, and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement digital test solutions on Advantest 93k tester platform.
• Integrate digital and optical test strategies into one solution.
• Write parsing scripts to evaluate data and assign tester resources.
• Design test cell improvements to increase tester capabilities and accuracy.
• Become SME in micro-positioning stages and RF test design on Advantest 93k.
• Collaborate with Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and Safety teams to ensure smooth operations.
