Job summary

Wipro seeks a software automation engineer to join our silicon verification team in the United States. You will build automation frameworks to accelerate prototyping and validation, and create tools that streamline deployment, testing, and data analysis across diverse hardware platforms.

The role requires strong C/C++ and Python skills, 3+ years in software and test automation, and experience with ASIC/FPGA environments.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of software and test automation experience with at least 1 year related to silicon/firmware validation.
• Proficient programming in C/C++ and Python (data structures, algorithms, and OOP).
• Proficient with software testing methodologies.
• Experience providing clear communications and working well with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation frameworks that enable fast silicon prototyping, validation, and system integration with high quality.
• Invent new tools to streamline software deployment, test execution, and data analysis as part of CI/CD and release systems.
• Develop and distribute library APIs to orchestrate silicon development platforms for automated stimuli input and data capture on boards and FPGA/Emulation platforms.
• Perform hands-on integration and troubleshooting of distributed software infrastructure.
• Develop data loggers for dashboards and automate health monitoring systems.
• Integrate libraries from 3rd party hardware vendors with in-house solutions.
