Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Mossville, IL seeks a SIL engineer for a long-term, onsite role on the second shift (12 PM–10 PM, four days a week) supporting the MineStar Fleet Application and autonomous trucks. The position emphasizes testing engineering with some IT software components.

You will configure and maintain a dedicated server cluster with VmWare, work with Windows Server and Linux, and conduct scalability lab testing to simulate mining-site conditions.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in related fields.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans.
• Proficiency in debugging and Software in the Loop (SIL).
• Experience with IT software, especially VmWare.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of Python and IP Networking.

Responsibilities

• Support the MineStar Fleet Application for autonomous trucks and staff vehicles.
• Enable autonomous operations using Command for Hauling and MineStar Fleet applications.
• Utilize fleet management systems to manage productivity and data at worksites.
• Conduct testing in a scalability lab to simulate real mining site conditions.
• Administer a dedicated server cluster using VMWare for virtual machine management.
• Manage virtual machines using Windows Server OS, Linux, and Autonomy onboard software.
• Perform system upgrades to Windows 2022.
• Work within an isolated VLAN segmented network specifically for the team.
