Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Mossville, IL is seeking a SIL Systems Engineer for the 2nd shift to join a dynamic MineStar Fleet testing team. The role focuses on testing engineering with IT software components and managing VM-enabled infrastructure.

You will administer a server cluster, work with Windows Server, Linux, and Autonomy software, and develop test plans to validate fleet operations. Onsite four days per week from 12:00 to 22:00, with a strong emphasis on reliability and

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in relevant fields.
Experience in developing and executing test plans.
Proficiency in debugging and Software in the Loop (SIL).
Experience with IT software, especially VmWare.
Knowledge of Python and IP Networking.

Responsibilities

Support the MineStar Fleet Application for autonomous trucks and staff vehicles.
Enable autonomous operations using Command for Hauling and MineStar Fleet applications.
Utilize fleet management systems to manage productivity and data at worksites.
Conduct testing in a scalability lab to simulate real mining site conditions.
Administer a dedicated server cluster using VM/Ware for virtual machine management.
Manage virtual machines using Windows Server OS and Linux.
Perform system upgrades to Windows 2022.
Work within an isolated VLAN segmented network for the team.
