Responsibilities include developing test frameworks, validating applications and middleware, and ensuring robust CI/CD test integration.
We are looking for an experienced Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) Test & Validation Engineer to develop and execute test solutions for next-generation automotive software platforms.
The role will focus on SIL/virtual validation, automated testing, integration and functional validation of automotive software, covering virtual ECUs, middleware, communication stacks, operating systems, and vehicle networks.
The engineer will work across application, middleware, platform, and ECU/SoC environments, with strong emphasis on Python-based test automation and Linux-based validation.
1. SDV Software Test & Validation
Develop and execute unit, integration, functional, system, and regression tests for SDV software components.
Validate automotive applications, middleware, communication services, and platform software.
Analyze software behavior, test failures, logs, traces, and interfaces to identify defects and support root-cause analysis.
Develop reusable and scalable test frameworks for automated validation.
Participate in requirement analysis and derive appropriate test scenarios and test cases.
2. Python-Based Test Automation
Develop Python-based test scripts, utilities, and automation frameworks.
Automate test execution, result collection, log analysis, and reporting.
Use C/C++ knowledge to understand and validate compiled automotive software.
Support automated regression testing as part of CI/CD pipelines.
3. SIL & Virtual ECU Validation
Perform validation in Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and virtual ECU environments.
Work with Virtual ECUs (vECUs) for software integration and functional validation.
Validate interaction between:
Automotive application software
Compiled control algorithms
Middleware
Vehicle communication
Support migration of applicable testing from physical ECU/HIL environments toward virtualized test environments.
4. Test Automation & CI/CD
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
5. SDV Platform & Automotive Software Validation
Test software running on automotive microcontrollers (MCUs) and SoCs.
Work with AUTOSAR Classic and/or Adaptive AUTOSAR platforms.
Validate SDV applications and services across heterogeneous compute environments.
Understand interaction between application software, middleware, operating system, communication stack, and underlying hardware.
6. Vehicle Network & Protocol Validation
