Job summary

Independent Software, Inc. seeks a Signals Analyst Level 1 to support national security operations by analyzing RF signals and identifying key characteristics to determine signal structure, parameters, and behavior.

You will work with a team of analysts and engineers to process, evaluate, and interpret signals data, contributing to the development of actionable intelligence. Must possess an active TS SCI with polygraph to be considered.

What You Will Do:

At Independent Software, as a Signals Analyst Level 1, you will support mission-critical national security operations by analyzing RF signals and identifying key characteristics to determine signal structure, parameters, and behavior. In this role, you will apply your expertise in signals analysis to support intelligence efforts across a variety of domains.

You will work with a team of analysts and engineers to process, evaluate, and interpret signals data, contributing to the development of actionable intelligence. This position supports a broad range of mission areas focused on improving, protecting, and defending national security interests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze RF signals to identify signal structure, parameters, and behavior
• Apply signals analysis techniques across COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, and/or PROFORMA domains
• Process and interpret signals data to support mission objectives
• Identify patterns, anomalies, and characteristics within signal datasets
• Support development of analytical products and reporting
• Collaborate with analysts, engineers, and mission partners to support operational requirements

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, or a related technical discipline and two (2) years of relevant experience; OR Associate’s degree in a related discipline and four (4) years of relevant experience; OR High school diploma or GED and six (6) years of relevant experience
• Relevant experience may include signals analysis (COMINT, ELINT, FISINT, PROFORMA), or design and engineering of aerospace, communications, electronic, or industrial systems
• Relevant military training and programs may be considered, including but not limited to:
  • Navy ELINT Analyst (9141)
  • Air Force ELINT Analyst (1N2A)
  • Intermediate or Advanced Signals Analysis training (451/461/452)
  • Military COMINT Signals Analysis Program (MCSAP)
  • Military ELINT Signals Analysis Program (MESAP)
  • Military OpELINT Signals Analysis Program (MOSAP)

Clearance Requirement:

• Must possess an active TS SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role
