Job summary

Canadian Pacific Railway is hiring for a Signal & Communications maintenance role in the United States. The position covers dig, cable repair, installation, inspection, and preventive maintenance of signal equipment and related infrastructure, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliable operation.

Candidates should have 3+ years in S&C maintenance, a high school diploma, and a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• 3+ years hands-on S&C maintenance experience.
• Completion of a certified railroad signal training program.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dig, cable repair, assemble and install signal equipment, pole line work.
• Repair and/or replace damaged equipment and test S&C system operation.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all S&C apparatus.
• Inspect and test devices as required.
• Report problems or unsafe conditions and maintain material on hand.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies.
