Job summary

Apple is seeking an engineer to work on SOC signal and power integrity from silicon to board. You will focus on high-speed serial interfaces such as USB and PCIe, performing electrical extraction and validation of package and PCB, and coordinating with circuit design teams to optimize SI/PI modeling and testing.

Expertise in lab equipment and EM tools is required. Minimum qualification is a bachelor's degree with strong background in high-speed interfaces; PhD or MS with several years'

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• PhD in a relevant field is preferred.
• MS with 3+ years or BS with 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with high-speed serial interfaces and SI/PI methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate high-speed serial interface SI/PI for Apple SOCs.
• Electrical design of SI/PI for silicon to package to board.
• Create and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity.
• Collaborate with design and vendor teams to optimize circuitry and system models.
• Debug and improve product yield with engineering teams.
