Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) in Nashua, NH is seeking a Test Engineer specializing in Signal Integrity to join our High Speed Products Group. You will design repeatable experiments, develop metrics, perform hands-on measurements, and analyze results to ensure connector and component performance.

You will work with simulations, lab measurements, and multi-domain data, correlate findings with the SI team, and help turn data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Signal integrity, high-speed interconnect, RF/microwave, or related electrical measurement experience.
• Comfort with VNAs, oscilloscopes, TDRs, and practical lab experiment setup.
• Programming experience in Python, MATLAB, or similar tools for analysis and review automation.
• Ability to turn messy experimental data into clear conclusions and actionable engineering insight.

Responsibilities

• Design repeatable Signal Integrity experiments to evaluate connector and component performance.
• Develop metrics and analysis methods that distinguish good components from weak or failing ones.
• Perform hands‑on measurements and rapid experiments to prove or disprove technical hypotheses.
• Analyze performance degradation using SI simulations, lab measurements, and other multi‑domain data sources.
• Correlate simulations, measurements, and observed product behavior with the SI team.
• Root cause performance loss and communicate findings clearly to engineering teams.
• Build and maintain team‑wide tools for data intake, automated review checks, visualization, presentation, and shared understanding.
• Turn recurring manual reviews into reusable scripts, templates, dashboards, or workflows that improve review consistency.
• Improve analysis workflows and documentation so teams can compare measurements across parts, sites, and programs more quickly.
