Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS) seeks a detail‑oriented SI Lab Technician to support our High Speed/Signal Integrity lab in Santa Clara, CA. You will perform measurements, collect data and help ensure components meet specifications in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team across Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering, using an oscilloscope, VNA and microscopes to document results and contribute to design improvements for high‑speed interconnects.

Qualifications

1–2 years postsecondary in EE/ME/Physics/Math.
Strong geometric, numerical, and statistical aptitude.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, PCB layouts and schematics.

Responsibilities

Assist and perform measurements of device under test to ensure specs.
Work in the SI lab to verify electrical specs of passive DUTs.
Assist with frequency (S-Parameter) and time-domain (TDR, BERT) tests.
Assist with electrical measurements using oscilloscope, VNA, microscope.
Assist with debugging customer systems or cable assemblies.
Record, store, and process data in Excel; create graphs and reports in PowerPoint.
Track all work and experiments; coordinate with Sales, Manufacturing and Engineering.
Maintain safety around sensitive equipment and perform with precision.
