Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Senior Signal Integrity Engineer to join our High-Speed I/O R&D team in Nashua, NH. You will design, simulate, validate, and optimize next-generation active electrical cables, optical transceivers, and high-speed networking products.

The role requires deep expertise in high-speed serial channels, DSPs, retimers, SerDes, PCB design, and SI analysis from concept through production, with collaboration across

Qualifications

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years in high-speed signal integrity engineering.
  • Experience with 56G/112G, preferably 224G PAM4.
  • Experience with DSPs, retimers, AECs, DACs, ACCs.
  • Strong PCB design, stack‑ups, transmission line theory.
  • S-parameter analysis and channel modeling experience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze SI for high-speed copper and optical interconnect products.
  • Perform pre-layout and post-layout SI simulations at 224G PAM4 and beyond.
  • Analyze loss, return loss, crosstalk, impedance, and channel compliance.
  • Optimize PCB stack-ups, vias, connectors, cables, and package transitions.
  • Develop channel budgets and link performance models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for design reviews and qualification.
